Introduction to computer typesetting and graphics

- topics include: color models and spaces, color management system, mathematical representation of images, sampling and aliasing, graphical file formats and properties, image compression algorithms, basic methods of linear and nonlinear image processing, technical photography and scanning; mark-up languages, document design, typography, specifics of www publishing, print and press technologies, finalizing technologies
Modern computer graphics

- topics include: color models, image generation, aliasing, principles of 2D and 3D vector graphics, texture mapping and compression, interpolation of pixels, parallel processing of graphic (and generic) data, extending the instruction set, modern graphic processors, OpenGL technology

- topics include: signals and systems with continuous and discrete time, representating signals in the time and frequency domains and their interconnection, random signals; communication systems, analog and digital modulation techniques for transmission of signals
