BUTCA - CYBER ARENA
BUTCA
Brno University of Technology Cyber Arena
is a technical platform designed for cybersecurity training. The arena emphasizes integration with real-world industrial equipment, playability, and user-friendliness. BUTCA aims at primary to high school and university students, as well as small to medium-sized businesses. The platform features several simulation virtual and physical polygons utilizing 5G infrastructure and other real-world technologies, such as IoT and Industry 4.0, within the #VodafoneUniLab.

How does BUTCA works?
- Connecting to BUTCA is really easy, all you need is a web browser and an OpenVPN client
- No need for powerful hardware, as our infrastructure provides the performance
- Straightforward training scenario creation, with everything manageable through the web interface
- A wide range of pre-designed scenarios with proper user documentation are available
- Utilize fully virtualized devices for your own specific needs or connect physical components
Roadmap

| 2020 | IInitiation of cyber-physical polygon development with the aim of connecting it to the Cyber Arena |
| 2021 | First testing with Information Security program students at BUT FEEC |
| 2022 | Full integration of the Cyber Arena into teaching at BUT, testing of remote access for „distance“ training |
| 2023 | Launch of the full version of BUTCA 1.0 – Cyber Arena with fully virtualized and cyber-physical scenarios and remote access |
| 2024 | Planned launch of SaaS solution for BUTCA and integration of unique learning model |
